Projects we Support
The Foundation first met the environmental volunteers at the Casita Verde in 1997. Deeply moved by their passion and unwavering dedication to the environmental cause, the Foundation began to support their endeavours and to assist in the creation of the Greenheart movement.
Since then, Casita Verde has blossomed into a full fledged model ecological center where visitors can learn about lessening their environmental impact on the earth. As part of the Greenheart movement, the Foundation currently supports the following projects:
Greenheart Resonancia - an educational and fun program of practical, stimulating experiences where children discover sustainable and respectful habits in order to face the realities of climate change.
Greenheart Guide - a bi-lingual directory to Ibiza and Formentera of local groups, businesses and services that offer or use environmentally friendly practices.
GreenHeartMusic produces music by artists living on or visiting the island of Ibiza, reflecting the artists' connection with and concern for nature. Proceeds from the sale of its CDs and music downloads are contributed to furthering the success of the environmental projects supported by Greenheart on the island.
Green Media - a tiny, planet-friendly website design and software development studio. Green Media offers a range of services including content managed websites, graphic design, php programming and software training.
